Civic Dinners & Banquets
Many formal events require traditional etiquette, with the proper use of titles, honours and awards.
I will ensure that the correct protocol is maintained throughout and can offer support and advice before the event.
Should you prefer, I can easily adapt to the less formal, by blending the formal with the less formal role of Master of Ceremonies, without compromising the grandeur of the occasion.
My Toastmaster duties:
- Provide support and advice prior to your event.
- Advise on etiquette and protocol, as appropriate.
- Attend the rehearsal (if required).
- Arrive at the venue early to finalise details with you (including any last minute amendments).
- Liaise with management, caterers, PA crew and photographers.
- Call guests to dinner.
- Conduct the receiving line (if required).
- Introduce hosts and distinguished guests.
- Announce Grace.
- Introduce the Loyal Toast.
- Introduce the speeches.
- Conduct fundraising raffle and auction (if required).
- Introduce the entertainment.
