Awards Ceremonies & Conferences

Acting as the compère or master of ceremonies for your awards ceremony, I will announce the awards and winners and introduce any speakers.

Alternatively, I will introduce the person presenting the awards ceremony or conference and make any other announcements that you require.

I will also support and advise you in the traditions and etiquette of hosting distinguished guests, who may be attending the event.

Most importantly, I will do my very best to ensure your awards ceremony or conference is a great success and that everyone attending has a truly wonderful time.

My Toastmaster/MC duties:

  • Liaise with the Awards Ceremony/Conference organiser(s) and the venue representative(s).
  • Attend the rehearsal (if required).
  • Arrive at the venue early to finalise details with you (including any last minute amendments).
  • Ensure the VIP Reception is prepared and welcome guests (if required).
  • Adhere to the running order and script to ensure a smooth and successful event.
  • Announce and introduce any guest speakers or VIP guests who may be speaking.
  • Announce at the pre-determined time any comfort breaks or meal breaks.
  • Ensure that your event runs to time.
